Safe Places for Children Australia are keen to recruit International Candidates (UK and Ireland Citizens) that are skilled, experienced and qualified in working with young people that display extreme pain based and challenging behaviours (such as verbal & physical aggression, sexualised behaviours, self-harm etc), the recruitment process is being supported by Safe Places for Children UK who will undertake various stages of the International Recruitment Project while candidates remain within either the UK or Ireland.

We are recruiting for Residential Youth Workers to support Safe Places for Children model of care within Australia. We are actively seeking International Candidates (that meet the position description and job criteria) for high priority areas which are Perth North (Western Australia), Townsville and Toowoomba (Queensland). Safe Places for Children UK will also help any successful applicant by having them attend an initial one day training within either the UK or in Ireland (which you will be paid to attend), this relates to one full day of on boarding which supports completing state police checks prior to working in Australia. Safe Places for Children Australia will support any successful applicant with relocation support (up to 4 weeks access to a shared house and 4 weeks access to a car share) and VISA requirements (link in with professionals where needed). Please note that all parts of the processes and checks are to be completed prior to departing the UK or Ireland for the Employment Opportunity.
